Tennis Academy

The All Hallows Tennis Academy is a very well established entity, involving over 200 children, staff, parents and members of the local community each week.

AHTA currently has over 280 British Tennis Members (BTMs). The Academy embraces a 'Tennis for All' philosophy, from ‘beginners (including ‘tots’ as young as 3) to those at 'performance' level. The Academy has links with 'Team Bath' University, where performance players attend for additional indoor training.

The learning environment is fun and individually challenging, with frequent competitive opportunities, at whatever level, being fundamental to the Academy's ethos. The expectation for personal development includes a strong commitment to healthy living, through good diet and regular exercise.

The more advanced players within the Academy can be provided with an individual programme that encompasses all aspects of their technical, physical and mental development.

The Tennis Academy's philosophy is to integrate tennis into the everyday life of a busy day and boarding preparatory school. Consequently, all the children are expected to follow the normal curriculum and experience the wealth of other opportunities on offer at All Hallows.

Parents and families are also integrated into the Academy, taking advantage of individual and group coaching opportunities.
