Year 3's Rainforest trip to Bristol Zoo
The children had a fantastic trip to Bristol Zoo last week as an introduction to their IPC project 'Rainforests'. They got to explore the whole zoo looking at rainforest animals in particular, with the Twilight Zone, Bug World and the Reptile House being the most relevant to their topic. They even got to hold some of the exotic creatures including a Madagascan Hissing Cockroach, Rainbow Boa and a Lesser Hedgehog Tenrec!
Abigail said 'I loved holding the cockroach it walked around my hand and used it's tiny legs to tickle me'
