Fantastic performances all round in Year 4's production 'Aladdin Trouble'
12th Feb 2018

Year 4 have had busy time rehearsing for their show 'Aladdin Trouble'.  Their hard work certainly paid off  - their performances of this musical play to the school and to parents were a roaring success.

This well-known tale of good vs evil featured a wonderful array of characters including the wicked Abanazar, the beautiful Princess Jasmine, the hilarious Widow Twankey and of course Aladdin and the Genie.  Lines were delivered with confidence and the quality of the singing across the whole year group was outstanding.  As summed up by Dr Richards: "The show was charming and funny in equal measure, but what struck me most was the amount of enjoyment emanating from the stage.  Not a single pupil looked uncomfortable and there were some standout performances from some unexpected quarters.  The show also contained the best comic walk I have ever seen...".

A huge thank you goes to all the staff involved in enabling the children to put on such a great show and also to the children themselves for providing us with such a great evening of entertainment.
