Boarding – another term of fun (and no snow!)
1st Apr 2011

It has been another busy start to the year for our boarding children and resident team. Keen not to rest on their laurels after last term’s outstanding Boarding Inspection, there have been a host of activities, new initiatives and good old fashioned fun! Alongside a very full and successful sporting programme, they have trekked up Cley Hill (and descended very swiftly!), had a ‘whale’ of a time at Splashdown, bowled pins, shot lasers, sumo wrestled and jousted, been in the caves of Cheddar Gorge, shopped until they dropped and prepared a 3 course feast in the kitchens – phew!...and they still had the time (and the energy!) to fit in the ‘Dance off’ competition and this year’s ‘X- Factor’ - a big hit once again.

It has also been wonderful to welcome so many day pupils to the house either as flexi boarders or as part of the very popular Year Group sleepover nights. The boarders love having their friends to stay!
