Our extensive Peripatetic programme allows pupils to pursue individual hobbies and interests with visiting specialists. These one-to-one or small group sessions are seamlessly integrated into the school day, freeing up after-school hours for busy parents.

• Music: From traditional instruments such as Harp, Piano, Violin and Cello, to contemporary vocals, Drums, and Electric Guitar.
• Speech & Drama: Supported by LAMDA examinations, our Speech & Drama lessons focus on creativity, enjoyment, building public speaking confidence and expressive performance.
• Dance: Specialist coaching in ballet which is especially popular with younger pupils.
• Tennis: Individual, pair, or small group coaching focused on technical proficiency and match play, supported by professional coaching company SSTennis.
• Cricket: High-performance net sessions and specialist technical drills with visiting professionals.
• Swimming: Targeted stroke improvement and stamina training from Flying Fish Swim School in our on-site pool.

We believe that the world is our classroom! Our trips programme scales with the child's age:

• Day Trips: Visits to local Somerset landmarks such as the Roman Baths or Bath, galleries such as Hauser and Wirth, and scientific hubs like We the Curious.
• Residential Stays: Developing independence through overnight stays, from Year 4 upwards take part in our Residential Week. Learn more below.
• International Expeditions: Cultural trips that broaden global perspectives for our Senior pupils, this includes the bi-annual French Trip, and Ski-Trip (Which is open to all of our Community).

At All Hallows, we schedule our annual Residential Trips into the same week and name it (you guessed it) 'Residential Week'. The week usually takes place in June, as part of the Summer Term.

In doing so, we minimise disruption to normal school routines across the course of the year, allowing us to collapse the curriculum for a week and focus upon providing a wider range of experiences for the pupils.

Years 5 to 8 embark on residential trips to a variety of providers, with the duration and experience of each trip growing as our pupils further develop independence and move upwards through the school.

Children in Years 3 and 4 will also experience an overnight stay during this week, coupled with other exciting and varied opportunities planned and provided on and around the school campus.

Our younger children will also have the opportunity to work and learn in a variety of ways both outside and inside the classroom and according to their age, making the most of the generous on-site facilities, and welcoming guest speakers and workshops.

The House System is the heartbeat of life at All Hallows, fostering a vibrant sense of belonging and healthy competition across all year groups. The system inspires our pupils to take immense pride in their collective House performance while celebrating individual excellence.

Our rewards initiative is designed to recognise the many ways our pupils contribute to school life. Whether through academic achievement or a simple act of kindness, every positive action counts:

• House Tokens: Staff members carry tokens to award "on the spot" for exemplary behaviour, helpfulness, and hard work. These are proudly deposited by the children into the House Point Counters located in the center of school life, The Hub - Take a look on your next visit!
• Commendations: For outstanding work or a sustained demonstration of our cherished All Hallows values, pupils receive Commendations. Each one is worth 5 House Points and can be viewed by parents via the Parent Portal.

House identity is further strengthened through a dynamic calendar of Inter-House events. From the grit of Inter-House Rugby and Hockey to the creativity of the House Music Competition, these events bring the whole school together in a spirit of friendly rivalry.

Every half term, the excitement reaches a peak during our whole-school assembly, where the latest House Point totals are shared. This ongoing journey not only cultivates a deep sense of House pride but also encourages every child to be the best version of themselves.
