All Hallows Colts Shine as Somerset County Champions

We are excited to share the latest successes from All Hallows in the field of hockey!
Following our impressive showing at the IAPS Nationals, our Girls Colts team went on to secure the title of U11 Somerset Hockey County Champions. The tournament kicked off with a solid 0-0 draw against Millfield, setting the stage for a remarkable performance. Subsequent matches included a 4-0 victory over Kings Hall and 2-0 wins against both Taunton School and Queens Taunton. With no goals conceded and a tremendous display of effort, energy, and learning, All Hallows emerged victorious – amazing news, well done to Immy, Tilly, Willow, Cecily, Molly, Jojo, Dulcie, Edith, Hettie and Florence!
Looking ahead, our focus now shifts to representing Somerset at the West of England tournament in March.
In addition, our 2nd Team Girls also experienced a successful afternoon, winning the Millfield Tournament last Saturday. Playing against 2nd Teams from Millfield, Blundells, Truro and Queens Taunton, the girls worked tirelessly as a team to top the tournament! Well done Tilly, Emily, Sophia, Star, Issy, and Maelys!
On to our Colts team success, the Senior Girls’ hockey performance has been on a steady upward trajectory. During their recent match against Prior Park this Wednesday, our 3rd and 4th teams showcased significant development in closely contested matches.
Meanwhile, the 1st and 2nd Team delivered their strongest results yet, playing exceptional hockey and securing impressive victories with scores of 6-2 and 9-0.
These achievements reflect not only the effort and dedication of our players but also the commitment to continuous improvement and teamwork within the All Hallows sporting community. Congratulations to all involved!
