Meet our Chaplain – Jess Sanderson

‘After a wonderful half-term as All Hallows Chaplain, I’m thrilled to formally introduce myself. Although I support the boarding community at Monkton, you’ll mostly find me here at the All Hallows.
This term, we’ve seen a start to Monday afternoon chapel services for both our Younger pupils in Years 1 to 4, as well as our Senior Pupils in Year 5 to 8. We’ve been exploring the ‘Fruit of the Spirit’ – one aspect each week.
Now, I must say, one of my absolute favourite moments in chapel is when the Years 1 to 4 break into song. We’ve added some new tunes to our repertoire, and if you live within a 10-mile radius, I wouldn’t be surprised if you’d heard them!
Next term is shaping up to be equally exciting. We’ll be honouring Remembrance Day, celebrating All Hallows Day, and, of course, diving into the festive spirit of Christmas (yes, I said it!).
In addition to my role as Chaplain, I have the privilege of teaching RE to many of our pupils across the school and introducing some of the younger years to the joys of learning Spanish. It’s been an absolute delight getting to know so many of our brilliant pupils from across the school.
Thank you to everyone who has been so welcoming, I’m thoroughly enjoying my time here at All Hallows and am eagerly looking forward to all the adventures the rest of the year has in store!’
