Year 5/6 Collaboration Cup Winners!

Last Thursday, our Year 5 and 6 pupils gathered excitedly for our fortnightly assembly in great anticipation to discover who would be crowned the very first Year 5/6 class champions of 2023/24.
Over the past few weeks, the five tutor groups within Years 5 and 6 had been demonstrating excellent class camaraderie in competing fiercely to gain class points: awarded by subject teachers across the curriculum for displaying superb collaboration as class. Although an extremely close competition, the worthy winners of the collaboration cup were 6W who will now be the holders of the trophy for two weeks.
Recognised by teachers across the curriculum, the following children were the recipients of a special award for the magnificent collaboration displayed over the past fortnight:
- 5BW – Annabelle for the excellent inclusion of others in work and play.
- 5D – Seb for excellent collaboration in helping to set up our new ‘Warhammer Club’
- 5K – Lilly for exceptional collaboration during practical investigations in Science
- 6E – Jack for outstanding leadership on the sports pitch
- 6W – Arlo for magnificent teamwork displayed as a mathematician and photographer.
Over the next fortnight, the classes will now be aiming to display excellent ambition in their learning in pursuit of the ambition cup! Let the competition commence!
