Young Artists Exhibit Stunning 6×6 Artworks in Charity Exhibition

Exciting news from All Hallows School as their young artists from Years 6 and 7 have exhibited their stunning artworks at an exhibition in aid of cancer counselling charity Why We Hear You.
The pupils, who had an incredible time unleashing their creativity and imagination, explored the theme of dreams and drew symbols related to their own dreams, inspired by the works of Miro and Magritte during an art workshop with local artist, Polly Alizarin Harvey.
Their beautiful and unique collaborative artworks measuring 6×6 were exhibited and auctioned off at the Silk Mill in Frome, with all proceeds going to cancer counselling charity Why We Hear You. The “sold” red dots on each piece demonstrated their value in supporting a great cause.
Head of Art at All Hallows, Ms Guppy, was delighted to attend the opening night of the Why We Hear You Charity Exhibition at Black Swan Arts. She proudly remarked, “Doesn’t the artwork look great on the pink wall? This is the first outside-of-school art exhibition for our All Hallows pupils, which is so exciting. We are grateful to Polly Alizarin for her time and expertise, and to our wonderful pupils for their time, focus, and enthusiasm when creating each artwork.”
The exhibition continued on Saturday and Sunday, giving everyone a chance to view and purchase these fantastic pieces of art. It was a great opportunity for the young artists to showcase their talents and support a great cause.
The school is incredibly proud of their hardworking young artists and their efforts to support such a worthy cause. This event was an excellent way to showcase the incredible talent and creativity of our pupils, and bring the community together to support a fantastic cause. Well done, everyone!
